Appearance is deceiving: cute dog breeds that should not be wound up in an apartment

Cocker, akita-inu, jack russell, a poodle … They sew fashionable overalls and cufflinks, dress them in hats, bows and even make them wear elegant shoes. It would seem that the city has long imposed indelible fleur of cartoonish attractiveness on these cute dogs. But even through centuries of domestication, the plush tetrapods, very popular in the urban jungle, are still united by another not so decorative quality – a restive and independent character. With one of the best dog training instructors Vitaly Orlov, “Evening Moscow” made a rating of the most unpredictable dog breeds.
– So, number 1. The Nordically restrained Malamute remembers the Arctic roots of his ancestors. This is an introvert dog, its isolation and non-communicativeness are mistakenly perceived by the townsfolk as a practically “impenetrable” calm and good nature. But if, at the puppy’s age, this “good-natured” is not guarded, but, on the contrary, indulged by all sorts of whims, in maturity he will continue to behave disobediently. Up to the manifestation of aggression.
Number 2. English bulldogs are loved by foreign animators (one of the characters in the animated series “Tom and Jerry”). Their slobbery faces can habitually cause joy in real life. At the same time, nature endowed these dogs with very poor health: a useless heart, poor-quality skin, a problematic esophagus and respiratory tract … All the time and money the owner of such a dog, as a rule, spends on it. But the character, despite the lack of health, remains fighting among the bulldogs. Until old age, loved and adored by their owners, they continue to “nightmare” the relatives of their owners. That is, these slobber handsome people are all prone to domestic violence. Probably, like all not-so-healthy living creatures, they act out to outsiders.
Number 3. West Siberian Laika – a hunting dog with the appearance and temperament of a wolf. This is a breed for professionals. And still there are eccentrics who are ready to keep a like in a city apartment, lay it on their own sofa and expect love from her at home. In this case, disaster cannot be avoided. Unspent temperament can shoot the most unexpected behavior, including aggression against the owners.
Number 4. Russian Spaniel continues a series of strong characters. This dog was specially bred to participate in the hunt. Russian spaniels have a very mobile nervous system. With careless relationships with both the owners and strangers, bites, palpable, painful, cannot be avoided.
Number 5. American Akita is another representative of introverted dogs. The breed is large, with strong bones and confidently stable nerves. Tenderness and affection are not for her. Moreover, the appearance of the dog is deceptively attracted to itself by its soft warm volumes. For obsessive affection and incorrect, unacceptable pressure for her, this dog can take revenge.
Number 6. Akita Inu is a Japanese relative of American Akita. Outwardly a very attractive small dog, but with a complex, self-sufficient character. There is a certain belief that training such dogs is the same as spoiling it. The breed is really very specific and autonomous. In order to find the key to cooperation with this dog, you need to have inner maturity, even an understanding of Japanese philosophy. Akita Inu is such a dog samurai.

Number 7. A dwarf poodle can be extremely dangerous if not properly trained.
“Sometimes you have to come to the family,” recalls Vitaly Orlov, “where the dwarf poodle lives in the closet. He chose such a home for himself. He is already 14 years old, and almost blind and deaf, with lost teeth, he continues to terrorize the whole family.
The origins of the behavior of a cute animal in the excessive emotionality of its character. The owners of such a dog, as a rule, are light, intelligent people who, when they were puppies, were unable to discern a threat to their own well-being due to obstinate behavior. Interestingly, poodles, however, in ancient times, were also used in serious hunts. These skills and character traits can manifest themselves in them today.

Number 8. Dachshund. These are very good, effective hunters. They already have a fighting temperament, like a dog specifically designed for hunting. Dachshunds are instantly able to adapt to a working mood. Reactions, aggressiveness they do not occupy. The percentage of bites and injuries from representatives of this breed is very high both among strangers, others, and among their own owners.
Number 9. Jack Russell and Parson Russell – these are close to each other, in fact, representatives of the same breed. Russellas were raised for very dangerous burrow hunting, when it was necessary to pull out from under the ground animals with claws, teeth and a weight exceeding the same data for the dog. Therefore, the kids have a very strong, confident, fighting and fearless character. These dogs are very good at working breeding. But with improper home education they can surprise their owners with a whole bunch of dangerous problems.
Number 10. The English Cocker Spaniel is a popular type of hunting dog with a mischievous character, but is able to “eat” even its owners with lost time irrevocably raised.
– In any conflict situation, this is possible. For example, the owner is trying to pick up a toy from his dog, comb the pet, will walk close to his bowl … and in return will receive a serious roar with a bite in his arm or leg, warns the specialist. – The English Cocker Spaniel takes preventive and most effective measures. The consequences of bites can be very serious: both tendon damage and fracture of small bones of the limbs. What is especially unpleasant, all of this can continue unchanged for many years.
We are all born for love. We take the dog because it is the most grateful creature. She will not tell you that they might not give birth. She will not tell you that 12 years ago they looked at her badly. Of course, they will always gratefully accept our love and give theirs. But often attachment stumbles upon such pitfalls as the lack of objectivity. In order to love and receive true warmth in response, you need to understand animals.
