Cocker Spaniel. Care and maintenance
Since the smooth-haired spaniel is very prone to tangling, it requires regular combing and also a bit more frequent bathing than dogs of other breeds. You also need to regularly cut the hair of the paw pads, thoroughly clean the ears and check their condition. The Cocker Spaniel is known for its long hanging ears, in which excessive amounts of ear wax and infections can form. They do not molt very much, therefore, problems with the constant cleaning of the wool should not arise. The average cocker spaniel will take as much physical activity as the host will offer them. They are ready to constantly run and play, especially in the fresh air. This breed just loves active exercises and your pet will be truly happy if you spend a lot of time with him. But to leave such a dog alone is not strictly recommended, since the cocker spaniel cannot be for a long time without company, and this will lead to a mental disorder. Therefore, before starting a dog of this breed, it is worth studying all the characteristics and making sure that you are ready to bear responsibility for it.
The nutrition of cocker spaniels can be either strictly of the same type (natural food or dry food), or mixed. The diet should consist of lean meat, cereals, vegetables, fruits, some offal, sour milk. These dogs are fed 2-4 times a day.
